Happy Birthday Gear Brisbane

Gear Brisbane, run by the ever so friendly Erik is having its first birthday this week so to Celebrate they are holding a couple of events. On Friday the 5th they will be holding a Movie Premiere of THE REVIVAL (You can see the preview below.) at Gear its self. I'm presuming it will be followed by a ride around the any streets of Brisbane, i know after seeing that movie I'm going to wanna mash. But that's not all, Erik with the help of other from Fixed.org - The Anticoast have organized a Birthday cat kicking off from Gear Shop the very next day, Saturday the 6th at 7pm. After which there will be a DUBSTEP Birthday Party held at The Verve Cafe & Bar on Edward st. With a performance from Expat Ed Eldridge (dUbLe E) who with local John English (Herts Solvent) has created Amecca Records. Duble E is a mad englishman who has been behind the decks at events such as Void and White Rhino. This is his last gig in Australia for quite a while, check him as he spins the latest steppy business from across the pond - his folder is almost unrivaled in freshness. Supporting will be the lovely and enigmatic Vivandiere, and the man behind the Dank the one and only Walrii. Plenty of beer and good times to be had so try and make it out. Don't worry for those who don't make it yours truly will try and bring you some photo's from the night.
