tenfour big daddy.
Ten Four bikes new frame. Simply amazing... only 15 production model's left, tried to get a hold of one myself. Well see. Also a little birdy tell's me we might be hear a little more of tenfour around Brisbane.
this guy is a scammer. i dealt with him via email and he ripped me off knowing that we are both a part of the messenger community. he initially told me 3 week turn around plus one week to ship. its now been five months and he has responded sporadically to my emails until about a month ago. at first he had no excuse then he said it was at the painters. he used that excuse for 2 months or so. he said "brown is a rare color." then he told me 2 or 3 different times that he finally got the frame from the painters so he only needed a day or 2 to put images on the frame and it would be off to me. a few weeks after he said that, he responded to my emails and sent me a picture. the frame was brown and still in the plastic that he received from the painters in. which meant that he'd had it in his possession for a few weeks with out just doing the finishing touches and mailing it to me. this is after he has apologized numerous times. so basically this guy is a shit bag, doesn't keep his word and will rip you off if he gets the chance. i made it very clear to him that i am a messenger as well. i'm not a rookie or a toolbag, not that it should make much of a difference. i know what i like in a bike and i ordered this frame because i have been looking for an aluminum frame that could withstand the stress i put on my bikes everyday. i ordered this frame after i broke my beloved steel frame. the tubeset was rare so i assumed it was a goner. since then i have found the replacement tube, ordered it, got it in, had the seat tube replaced and rode it till the downtube broke. so that bike is done. then i finally broke my aluminum frame that had seemed like it was bombproof. all while waiting for my frame that was supposed to have arrived at my door within a month. i'd heard that he was especially quick to get these frames made and sent to messengers but he is fully aware that i have been thru 2 bikes since i ordered this frame. he is also aware that, being a messenger, i dont have $500 to throw away. the money i had to buy a new frame with is in his hands, he is aware of that and clearly doesnt give a shit. dont support this asshole.
